How do I care for my product?

My products are made with love and care and I hope you’ll treat them the same at home. Follow these simple instructions to ensure your product lives a long and happy life.

Sculptures and pendants

The core material I use is Jesmonite, an eco friendly, non-toxic opaque resin that has a stone-like finish. It has a similar strength to ceramics.

I paint my products with acrylic paint and then seal them with a top coat of UV resin to protect the paintwork and give a glassy finish.

The core materials used are waterproof, however avoid submerging or scrubbing them it could damage the paintwork. Wipe gently with a damp cloth if cleaning is required.

Safety: My products aren’t designed to be played with by children.

Clothing

My clothing is sourced second hand and upcycled with high quality materials. Felted items are made with 100% British Shetland wool. I embroider garments using cotton thread.

If your garment gets mucky, spot cleaning is the best option. Gently hand wash dirty spots with warm water and mild soap, this will prevent shrinkage and wear.

Avoid machine washing where possible, but if it’s the only option, turn the garment inside out to protect the design and set machine to ‘delicate’ or ‘wool’ cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees. Place the garment in laundry bag for extra protection.

DO NOT machine dry. Allow the garment to air dry on a flat surface.
